Jean Paul Abi Awad aims to create jewelry and accessories that are unique, combining his architectural knowledge with his passion of designing with concrete.

A graduate of the Lebanese University of fine art in 2014, Jean Paul earned his Master’s Architecture degree and then introduced ZEOLLI in 2019.

Jean Paul began to experiment with concrete shortly after completing his studies. While the unorthodox material inspired him, its use required that he reskill himself since standard jewelry making does not use this material, especially in Lebanon. The properties of this material call for an understanding of unusual tools and manufacturing methods.

Through trial and error, Jean Paul persevered to create a line that was unlike anything his competitors were creating. His persistence resulted in a collection of pieces that reflected the designer’s interest in industrial design and architecture. All the Way Through a studied use of clean lines and a solid commitment to a minimalist aesthetic, Jean Paul has evolved ZEOLLI into a modern line of jewelry and accessories for the contemporary man and woman.
