Lebanon's Industrial Parade 2022
The first of the Paragon Parades was launched in the magnificent Middle East Training & Conference Center in Beirut on August 10, 2022. Over 200 believers in Lebanese industry gathered in a showcase of support to explore export potentials for over 25 parading industrialists and innovative concepts. Lebanese expatriates, international missions, foreign embassy representatives and economic attaches, joint Lebanese-International Chamber of Commerce & Industry representatives and the media all attended a parade of forward-looking industrialists who, in spite of Lebanon’s persistent economic woes, managed to expand their product varieties and establish export potential. Hats off to these, and to the circle of funding, logistics and export advisors who spoke in their support.
Opening Session
Paragon Founder Dalia Khalil addressed forum dignitaries with an opening speech presenting the first of a series of annual events in support of Lebanese industry, emphasizing the need for Public-Private Partnerships to facilitate and promote those resilient and forward looking Lebanese industrialists who in spite of Lebanon’s persistent economic woes, have managed to emerge stronger and become export-ready while enduring the worst possible production circumstances.
Government Address
H.E. Prime Minister Najib Mikati honored the event with his patronage. H.E. Minister of Industry Georges Bouchikian spoke in support of Loubnany’s mission and of Lebanon’s resilient economy, announcing much trust and confidence in the sector’s ability to sustain and change its future focus.
