Halewe is one of the Middle East’s oldest traditional deserts. It can be flavored in various ways and may include pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts or chocolate. Its main ingredients are Tahini, Sugar, Citric acid, Saponaria “Sheresh el Halewe” and other flavors such as Vanilla. It is manufactured in blocks or smaller sizes for retailers.
