MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)

MDF is a wood based board produced by binding wood fibers together with a synthetic resin that hardens under heat. MDF may be used with very good results in producing all sorts of moulded and profiled panels and sections of furniture such as table tops, drawers, and doors. With its smooth and stable surfaces it provides a very good base both for lacquering and overlaying with different kinds of decorative foil or wood veneers.
